That used to be the front knock sensor for my Audi 200 20v. That is also how it came out of my car. I don't think it was doing much. I also have a chewed up crankcase breather hose next to the new one I got. Can't see it in this picture but the hose itself was filled with cracks and was damaged at all the openings where the ring clamp would go on. All in all, it was a good afternoon's work (it was done last weekend I'm just bad about posting things in a timely manner)

Recently changed mine on the Subaru. They put those things in the hardest to reach places.
